1st shoot
On the first day of arriving in Anglesey (Wales), we went down to the beach and was asked to take pictures of the landscape as the beginning of the project. I took several pictures of the sand, rock pools and waves, but I mainly focused on my partner as the 'model' for the pictures. The aperture was set low so you could see the waves in more detail and the atmosphere in the sky. With my partner in the shot it adds an extra spice to the mix as it changes the emotion behind the pictures entirely.
2nd shoot
On the last day of the trip, we went back down to the beach we started at and were asked to complete a variety of tasks. As it was light this time it gave me the opportunity to explore the beach in a completely different eye than the last. I captured several breathtaking photographs such as the waves crashing on the sand on the shore, a stream flowing on a rock pool, and the bubbly ice white waves crashing onto the rocks. In my opinion this was my most successful shoot of the entire course. If I were to do this shoot again I would try and concentrate on doing more close-ups.
